Skill Level
Beginner to intermediate. You will sew simple wedge shapes, quilt straight lines and join them into a ring. Making one sample wedge first helps you get a perfect fit.
Materials You Need
- 5 to 6 fall cotton prints, about 25 to 35 cm of each
- Thin batting or fusible fleece
- Felt scraps for the leaves
- Jute cord or ribbon for the hanger
- Wooden beads or acorn embellishments (optional)
- Thread, sewing machine, scissors, ruler, pins or clips, fabric marker and iron
Make It for Any Season
Swap the fall fabrics and leaves for felt flowers, pine sprigs or a bow, and use the same method for spring, Christmas or winter wreaths.
