Welcome fall to your front door with a wreath you sew yourself. This autumn patchwork wreath uses 16 padded, quilted fabric wedges in rust, mustard, olive, cream floral and plaid. A cluster of felt leaves, berries and acorns sits at the top.

It looks great from September through Thanksgiving. The pattern is an instant PDF download with a printable template page and step-by-step photos.

Materials You Need

5 to 6 fall cotton prints, about 25 to 35 cm of each
Thin batting or fusible fleece
Felt scraps for the leaves
Jute cord or ribbon for the hanger
Wooden beads or acorn embellishments (optional)
Thread, sewing machine, scissors, ruler, pins or clips, fabric marker and iron

Make It for Any Season

Swap the fall fabrics and leaves for felt flowers, pine sprigs or a bow, and use the same method for spring, Christmas or winter wreaths.
