Description
Sew a bag that looks like a wrapped sweet. This gingham bow candy bag is a puffy crossbody purse with a rounded zip pouch in the middle and a big bow loop on each end. A long, thin strap lets you wear it across your body or over your shoulder.
It is cute, light and fun to carry. Make it in classic black-and-white gingham, or try pink, red or a floral print.

Important: How This Pattern Works
This is a draw-your-own pattern guide. There are no printable pattern sheets to tape together. You draw each piece yourself on large paper with a ruler, using the exact steps in the guide. It is easy to follow, and it lets you resize the bag to fit what you carry.
- One worked-example size, with clear adjustment notes
- No graded sizes (S, M, L)
- We recommend a quick test version in cheap fabric first
Finished Size (Worked Example)
- Total width with bows: about 38 cm (15 in)
- Center pouch: about 20 × 13 × 9 cm (8 × 5 × 3.5 in)
- Each bow loop: about 11 × 12 cm (4.25 × 4.75 in)
- Zip: about 20 cm (8 in)
- Strap: about 110 × 2 cm (43 × 0.75 in)
